Honoring our rich heritage,
sharing it with the community.

Centro Cultural de las Bellas Artes was established in 2024 to honor our Hispanic culture and tradition by offering programs that serve all ages in the Wise County community.

Centro Cultural de las Bellas Artes offers space for local residents and visitors to participate in cultural activities that include fine arts, discussions, gatherings events and community celebrations that both enrich and inspire.

Ballet Folklórico

Ballet Folklorico is a Mexican dance style that combines music, dance, and costumes from various regions of Mexico. At Central Cultural de las Bellas Artes, we share our passion for this beloved dance with the community and each other.

If you would like our dancers to perform at your next gathering, please contact us.

Abuelitos Unidos del Condado de Wise

A gathering place for seniors. Abuelitos started with 10 seniors. It has now grown to more than 80 who come twice a week for fellowship and lunch. Our founder and executive director Cynthia Alvarez believes that our community is best served when our older citizens play a large part in it.

Día De Los Muertos

Join us as we celebrate our 2nd Annual Festival del Día de los Muertos! Our mission is to enrich the lives of our community members through a vibrant and inclusive festival. We are dedicated to preserving cultural heritage, fostering artistic expression, and promoting the well-being of our community. Our goal is to bring the community together in a culturally rich event where life is celebrated and loved ones who have passed away are honored.

“We aren’t just creating a cultural center for our community. We’re creating it for the whole community.”

— Cynthia Alvarez., Executive Director of Centro Cultural de las Bellas Artes
